A group of young journalists team up to investigate a few of the myriad problems facing Kern County in California's Central Valley: a police force that's one of the most dangerous in the US, a disorganized and heavily contaminated water supply, and a large proportion of residents — particularly immigrant farm workers — who lack access to adequate health care.
